Welcome to our school blog, here you will find a snapshot of events taking place at Legh Vale on a weekly basis from Nursery to Y6.

Week Commencing: 23rd July 2018

Nursery children are busy collecting the beans they have grown. 

Nursery children enjoyed a Teddy Bears picnic. To see more photographs look at the Gallery. 

Week Commencing: 16th July 2018

In Nursery this week children have been taught how to program a 'Beebot' . Independently they helped each other to give the 'Beebot' instructions to move around the grid. 

Y1/2 enjoyed making and sharing their own board games.

Y5H have had a fantastic morning creating 3D structures out of marshmallows and spaghetti.

Year 5 enjoyed a fun - filled trip to Knowsley Safari Park. A fantastic way to end a fantastic year ! More photos can be found in our gallery.

Nursery learning how to use 'Beebot'.

Y1JL thoroughly enjoyed making their own board games. The best bit was sharing them with their friends.

Week Commencing: 9th July 2018

Y1RB have really enjoyed dragon hunting this week. The children have had lots of fun completing all of the party tasks sent by the dragon.

Year 5 have been showcasing their World Cup Projects. Each child has researched a country from the World Cup and then presented their findings to the rest of the class. Well done to everyone!

Year 4 cricket. Second place!

Congratulations to our Y5/6 Netball team who won the Willow Tree Festival today.

Fantastic news! Lots of wonderful new books are going into the KS2 library ready for September.These books have been ordered using the Free Rewards from the books bought by parents/carers at the School Book Fair.Thank you for supporting this event. More photos can be found in our gallery.

Week Commencing: 2nd July 2018

This week our Y5/6 Netball Team represented St Helens at the Merseyside Games in Wavertree.

RCM had a great time on our trip to Knowsley Safari Park this week. 

Reception had an amazing time on their trip to Knowsley Safari Park. They were very well behaved and showed impeccable manners.

Y1/2 took part in a range of team building activities.

Y1JL really enjoyed tasting different flavoured ice cream. It helped them come up with some great descriptions!

Y5 are studying Harry Potter and have enjoyed reading 'The Philosopher's Stone' this week.

Year 3 had a fantastic time in Blackpool. They got to visit the Blackpool Eye and the circus. We had so much fun! Check out the gallery for more pictures.

Y1RB have been busy writing letters this week.
